Honestly, put yourself in the fish's shoes and put the situation into context. What chance did it have of escaping from that pond and then wandering through the dirt and rocks, overcoming great obstacles that appeared on the way, and returning to the lake? That pond was built by incomparably more intelligent humans, who disregarded any possibility of a fish "planning" an escape and still "walking" to a pond.
Do you perceive a communication from God in this action or not?! The original audio of this video (which went viral on the internet) began by saying: "If it wasn't filmed, no one would believe it!". This fish's instinct, coupled with its reasoning with its tiny one-centimeter brain, to plan and execute this escape from its "maximum security prison" is a miracle of Creation in the making!
We too have "prisons", which can be work problems, financial problems, health problems, family problems... And our desire is to "escape" from them, in other words, to solve them.
If a fish had the necessary "faith" to escape with its instinct alone, without knowing God, imagine you who are a child of God, Jesus Christ, made in his image and likeness and can still ask for his help!!!
God always wants us to seek him out, but that doesn't mean we'll just sit back and do nothing. He wants us to fight (as the fish itself did) and with faith in Him... As we progress in the "escape", He will enable us and help us to overcome every obstacle, small or large, until we reach our final goals.
But it's important to understand: our goal is not always God's goal. His decision for the end of this fight and flight will always be what is best for us to achieve ETERNAL SALVATION and PARADISE. Therefore, many times the end will not be what we initially wanted, because we tend to see only earthly and passing happiness.
Let's also remember, brothers and sisters: we are pilgrims in this world, we are momentarily "stuck" here and the only way out is Jesus ("I am the way, the truth and the life" John 14:6). Following in his footsteps, we will escape from this earthly world and finally reach our final home: Paradise (the fish pond)!
