Our Lady of Milk: drops of Mary's milk dropped on the rocks of the cave eliminate infertility in couples. Intercessor for motherhood and fertility
The Milk Grotto
The problem of infertility among couples is considered a public health problem today, reaching about 15% of couples of reproductive age - the problem being equal to men or women. The reasons cited by medicine that led society in modern times to a chronic situation regarding infertility are numerous, and this discussion is not up to it. But Christian couples have a great helper and intercessor with the Father: Our Lady of Milk!
After the Child Jesus was born, Mary and Joseph needed to flee, for Herod wanted to kill the Child, for he already knew that He was the living God promised in the scriptures. As, however, he did not know which boy he was, had all children under two in Bethlehem and surrounding areas killed... The Holy Family left on the run for Egypt. On the way they stopped in a cave for the Child to breastfeed (near the Basilica of the Nativity). In the rush to love Him and continue the escape, the miracle arose:
A few drops of Mary's milk fell on the cave stones. As soon as they fell, the stones changed color, moving from brown to creamy white, just like milk!
Since then, countless couples with infertility problems have started scraping the white stone to take some of the powder and ingest diluted in water or coffee, achieving the grace of getting pregnant! Some leave notes in the grotto where is the image of Our Lady breastfeeding the Child Jesus, asking for his intercession, and miraculously also have their children. In the written testimonies exhibited on the outside of the cave, the greatest number of graces achieved are from Brazil!
The Lactation of St. Bernard of Claraval
Another miracle coming from the milk of Our Lady occurred in the life of St. Bernard. This was a monk of the Monastery of Claraval born in the twelfth century, known as one of the pillars of the church, Doctor Mellifluous, great preacher and for his great Marian devotion. The expression in the Prayer Save Queen: "O merciful, O pious, O sweet always Virgin Mary!" was said by him as the silence of the church erupted by praising with this expression aloud after the end of the prayer and perpetuating forever throughout the world this worship embodied in prayer.
Her love was such that Mother Mary granted her a great privilege: to receive some of her breast milk. It occurred at a time of his prayer upon receiving an apparition of Our Lady breastfeeding the Child Jesus:
During his veneration of the apparition, a few drops of milk fall from Our Lady to the top directly on the lips of St. Bernard. From that moment on, the saint immediately had great eloquence, knowledge, and wisdom!
