Padre Pio appeared and flew between the WWII planes!

Padre Pio has amazing and fascinating miracles, but these two are one of the most spectacular, as he appeared in the air (levitating) during the second world war in front of planes, read on!

Padre Pio prevented San Giovanni Rotonto from being bombed by appearing in the skies!

The monastery of the Santo Padre was located in this region, and at a certain point in the Second World War the Allies also considered it strategic to bomb this city in Italy. However, all attempts were unsuccessful, as the aviators when approaching the location were faced in the air with the figure of a mysterious friar levitating, who made the planes drop their bombs alone in the surrounding woods and turn around, without the pilots even touching the instruments! The platoon commander himself wanted to personally verify this mystery and the same happened, taking him to visit the monastery in those vicinity where he learned that a holy priest resided there. Upon entering and encountering Padre Pio, he instantly recognized him and fell to his knees at his feet, converting to Catholicism.

There were also several reports of soldiers being rescued by Padre Pio. One of the most exceptional was that of a soldier who, after being hit by a Japanese fighter jet, ejected himself but was unable to open his parachute. He was doomed to crash to the ground. But not! Padre Pio appeared in the air, grabbed him in his arms and carried him safely to the landing site. He later learned that his mother prayed for the Holy Father to take care of him in the war.
