Saint Joseph of Cupertino flew and the animals stopped to listen! the saint of students

The life of St. Joseph of Cupertino is a great example of God's grace in our lives, for even with our various limitations, if obedient and assiduous in their dedication to our activities within our abilities, He provides us. What we are not capable of, He completes!

The saint was born in 1606 in the city of Cupertino. Early in his teens he wanted to join some Catholic order, but they always rejected him because he was too clumsy, clumsy and accused him of a great lack of intelligence. Finally, he was accepted by the friars who gave him the task of caring for a mule. His obedience and dedication to the care of the animal was such, as was his life of prayer, that they admitted him as a friar. But he wanted to be a deacon, needing to pass an exam, really wise that his serious learning problem would make it immensely difficult. The first divine providences begin right now:

On the day of the examination, by providence, the Bible was opened and the only passage of the gospel he could explain well was read: "Blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus."

Because of this deliverance and another later one that led him to pass the ordination of a priest, he came to be known as the saint of the students, especially those with greater difficulties in studies and learning.

During his priesthood, even though he was illiterate and without studies, he could gain a great understanding of theology that fascinated everyone. With his wisdom and gift of science from God he counseled bishops, princes, and even the pope.

Even with all the fame that followed coming from his wisdom, he never left routine work on the simplest and most steamy tasks, such as caring for the animals in the stable. His gifts still accompanied him in his routine:

The sheep gathered near him to listen to his words and prayers, while the birds of the heavens sang spinning around him on your walks.

But the gift that most aroused the attention of Christians was their ecdashes as it approached the image of Our Lady or even just hear someone quote the name of Jesus.

He constantly flew or levitated from one place to another within the church, as well as near the Eucharist. And even though he was not at all adept at much personal hygiene, he exuded the smell of roses as he passed among people, being felt from far away

He also had the miraculous gift of bilocation, coming to be in two places simultaneously. Additionally, his miraculous interventions in healing people led many to conversion, but they also forced his constant change and persecutions of the Inquisition.
