Marcelo Henrique Câmara: the young Brazilian candidate for saint!!! A testimony of life for today's youth

Marcelo Henrique Câmara was a young/adult who was a great example for our current youth, especially for those in the academic or professional world where atheism predominates. He led a life of holiness in his personal daily life and in his professional life at the university and at the Court of Justice. At the opening of the process for the Cause of his Beatification and Canonization by the Metropolitan Archbishop of Florianópolis, investigations into his life began, earning the title of Servant of God (CLICK HERE to find out the stages of a saint's canonization process). Therefore, if you are in need of grace, ask this candidate for a Brazilian saint. Like Blessed Carlo Acutis, Marcelo was a great devotee of the Holy Eucharist and the Holy Mass

When Carlo Acustis had not yet been beatified, a priest from Mato Grosso known to the young Italian's family announced in his local parish here in Brazil that they should ask for Carlo's grace, as it was a great opportunity in light of his candidacy for beatification. And a child did it, this being the miracle that beatified Carlo! (CLICK HERE TO READ MORE) Wouldn't it be an equal opportunity to ask Marcelo Henrique Câmara for a favor?!?! Even though he is still in the Servant of God stage of the process, there are already testimonies of graces achieved even in Japan through his intercession. Life and Work of Marcelo

Below are parts of the text copied from the pamphlet in action to obtain thanks for the intercession of our young Brazilian:

"Marcelo Henrique Câmara was born in Florianópolis on 06/28/1979. Along with his younger brother, Murilo, they are the children of the couple Julio Carlos Ricahard Câmara and Leatrice Pavan.

Throughout his life he was immensely grateful to his parentsFrom the age of 10, when his parents separated, he began to feel increasingly responsible for his family. He tried to make the most of his excellent intellectual gifts, through dedication to his studies. He became a Master in Law and worked as a substitute professor at UFSC and as a Public Prosecutor of SC.

At the beginning of his university course, he participated in the Emmaus Movement spiritual retreat, when he obtained the grace of a profound conversion. In the following years, he carried out an intense apostolate with the young people of the Movement: he became a regular speaker on courses, at meetings of the "São Paulo" group and at the Missionary School, as well as a frequent collaborator in programs with Rádio Santa Catarina.

(...)

He claimed to have found confirmation of his lay vocation, through the sanctification of temporal realities, including professional work. He began to dedicate himself to the apostolate of friendship and confidence with work acquaintances.

In September 2004, he was diagnosed with a type of cancer (non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma). With filial trust in Divine Providence, he faced the long process of fighting for life with surprising serenity, undergoing exams and chemotherapy and radiotherapy treatments. Even though he was weakened by the disease, he studied diligently to face the competitive competition for the State Public Prosecutor's Office, being approved in 5th place and appointed Prosecutor of Justice of SC on 03/20/2007.

He underwent prolonged hospital stays until he underwent a bone marrow transplant in November 2007, when leukemia had already been diagnosed. The last hospitalization occurred at the end of February 2008. On 03/20/2008, Maundy Thursday, he passed away ."
